theCofC is the Churches of Christ Media Network's hub site — one place that brings together the ministry job board, the network's podcasts, and (soon) a books shelf and a set of resources for elderships and search committees. Each section lives at its own address, but they share one design and one purpose: making it easier for congregations to find each other and the tools they need.
theCofC is maintained by a small team drawn from congregations within the Churches of Christ. We're not a publishing house or a denominational office — just members and ministers who saw that postings for pulpit, youth, and family ministry positions were scattered across bulletin boards, Facebook groups, and word of mouth, and built a single place to find them.
Every job posting is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We don't publish automatically, and we don't charge congregations to post an opening.
We ask elderships and search committees for a name, an email, and details about the position and congregation — never more than we need to publish and verify a listing. Here's how we handle it:
A person checks every submission before it appears on the board.
Name, email, and photos you choose to submit — nothing more. See our privacy policy.
Post a position without creating a login or handing over a password.
Listing an opening costs a congregation nothing.
